Every our furry family member has a name – of course, individual personality and different character. 🐾🐺
All of our doggies (we have in total 108 PAWS 🐾 – Please read carefully: PAWS!) in Wild Kemijoki Huskies are real (fluffy ones) Siberian Huskies. The closest relative of the wolfs, amazing working dogs, but also part of the family.
For us they are not just sled dogs – they are our life. They love to work, they love to run! But also they love lots of cuddles and hugs every second. Life with those dogs is everyday adventure. They are best companion for everything!
Our doggies are family members and companions to us. That is why we place great emphasis on their welfare and wellbeing.
We have a small number of dogs, also so that we as their owners can give them everything they need and above all a lot of love and cuddles. Each dog has its own specific character and temperament. 💙
All our doggies live in large kennels, usually 2-3 dogs in the kennel. Each dog has its own roommate with whom they love to play and sleep together. Each dog has a fully insulated dog house with bedding. Some live with us in the house and every evening we compete with them for a place in the bed. 🙂 😅
We have a huge free running area where the dogs enjoy running around freely together and digging holes, which they really love, and in the summer they go swimming in the pool or river. Off snow season we go on hikes to the woods, berry picking together (btw did you know that the huskies really love the blueberries?🫐), we are training basic obedience and we enjoy every time together. 🫶 The dogs are also use to run on free around the ATV or Snowmobile.
In winter season, we also participate in several mid/long distance races with the dogs, for which of course we have to prepare the dogs properly. Training for both the tourist and racing seasons usually starts at the end of August – it depends on the weather.❄️
We are official responsible breeders of the Siberian Husky breed, so all our litters of puppies are responsibly planned years in advance. In the entire time we have lived with huskies, we have only had one litter so far, and now we are planning a second one in the fall 2026. We never do not plan puppies as a tourist attraction, but only in case we need new, young blood for the racing team and of course the pack of dogs is also unfortunately gradually getting older. The old doggies always stay with us even in retirement. 🐾
Our dogs have regular physiotherapy massages and of course annual vaccinations and veterinary checks, which are absolutely necessary. As well as professional quality equipment such a dog harnesses, collars, jackets for dogs etc.
Quality food specially for working dogs, meat, food supplements and tons of treats are a must. 🥩

The love of our life! Special relationship between us. ❤️ So smart, concentrated, obedient, self confident and balanced dog. Barney is our teacher and we learned from him so much and also he is a teacher of young and inexperienced dogs. Our main and best leader that will guide us were ever we wish to go. When he runs, nothing around him interests him. He loves to run fast… He is very strong and hardworking dog. Loves to cuddle and scratch on his back. He loves to sleep in bed on his back. He loves to play – in his 11 years he still behaves like a puppy. Barney steals slippers so be careful 😉 And he loves food tooo much! Especialy meat treats and pigs ear. He knows how to give you a kiss! Do you want one… or hundred? 😘 Ok, not all of our dogs are huskies. We have one Alaskan Malamute and her name is Maya. You can easily recognize her. How? She is speaking all the time. She will speak with you, with other dogs or with herself. 🙂 During 9 years of her life she didn´t understand that the tail is her. Maya is very good obedient malamute. She is very sweet and nice fluffy bear. Loves being cuddled. She loves to play with Barney and raises Olaf. She is little bit lazy, but we still love her. 😛 She is strong and runs like a wheel dog (nearest to sledge). Our small sweet heart. Noomi is very gentle girl. She is our princess and lead dog, very smart, elegant and super obedient. Noomi is our small pocket rocket. 🙂 In cold winter and dark Lapland nights she loves to sleep with Denisa in sleeping bag. Best heater ever! She is very fast and clever girl. She loves to play with whole pack, specially with Barney and Olaf. She loves toys and balls. And she annoys Maya and pulls her by the tail. 😀 She loves being cuddled and she wants to be in the middle of the attention. If not, she will scream on you like a raptor from Jurassic world! By the way – sometimes she is running like a raptor. 🙂 Noomi runs as a lead dog. Olaf is the naughty boy of the pack, but we love him. He probably wants to destroy whole world. 🙂 He is such a good-looking boy. He loves people and he loves to run and run and run and run…! He is athletic boy, energetic and full of speed and strong – it is our Olaf. Olaf loves being cuddled. He is definitely a very independent dog who does what he wants whenever he wants! She is young and shy dog, she was rescued from a shelter, but loves being cuddled once he knows you. When she knows you she will give you all her love, she will lick your face and hands for a whole day. She will jump into your arms and she can stay there forever. 🤗 She loves to play with her best friend Lupin. Hana loves to play, run and have a fun. Our Polish fragile girl. Runs as a team or lead dog. Meet our sweet and smart boy, big personality Togo. Togo loves attention and loves to be the centre of attention. He was born as smallest from the litter, but now you wouldn’t recognize any difference. Of course because he was the smallest one, now he is the most spoiled one. 🙂 He is enthusiastic about every game, he learns quickly and looks for opportunities to learn something new. We hope that one day he will be a great leader for our racing team. Our small pocket rocket number 2. (Number 1. Is her mother Noomi.) Our gentle, sweet and smart girl! She was born as a biggest one from the Litter. From she was born she is very gentle, sweet and too much similar to her mother. 🙂 She has endless love to give, ever so often a quick lick to tell her humans how much she loves them. Angel is a vibrant and loving girl who brings joy to those around her. She looks very calm, but when she starts play, she can fly like a crazy jet. Atlas is one of our “raptor” puppies from Litter A. (Born 27.8.2023, mommy Noomi). Atlas is very friendly and quirky boy. He is quite calm and independent boy, but he really likes to dig big holes on the dog yard. 😀 He enjoys running, playing with others, cuddling and hugging. Our ice-blue eyed still smiling elf princess. Cheeky, and affectionate personality who loves to accompany you wherever you need to go. Arwen is always excited to see everyone and she is a fun loving dog. 🙂 Alvin is one of our “raptor” puppies from Litter A. (Born 27.8.2023, mommy Noomi). Our little bit complicated boy, since he was born he’s been a bit morose boy. Growls at every sibling all the time. Otherwise he is a very nice and a bit cautious boy. He has a very serious face and deep blue eyes. He is an exact copy of his father Tappis. Our little white battle angel. Her games with the others are very rough and crazy since she was little puppy. She is not sure about new people. She is not particularly fond of being pet and she likes her personal space. But this mostly accounts for humans. When it comes to the dogs, she is much different. She is very sensitive. But once she knows you she will give you a kisses. :* Our naughty, restless and not very obedient boy. Our big lover Arrow, he is very kind and loves cuddles very much. Arrow runs as team, wheel or lead dog. Our fluffy teddy bear. 🙂 Jacky is slowly already retired. Our grannies sisters Joy and Vegas. Our grannies sisters Joy and Vegas. Our sweet, kind girl, a little lazy but loves everyone and you’ll probably never find her other than rolling on her back and having her belly rubbed. 🙂 Our Jackie is smart girl. Chip is our youngest member of our furry family. 🙂 Chipmunk is a very smart and brave boy. He loves food more than anything in the world and if he doesn’t get it on time, he can be very loud. 😀 Chip runs as a team or wheel dog. Aurora is the youngest member of our furry family – she came with Chip. (But they are not siblings.) She runs as a lead or team dog.

Im a big dog lover. My long term dream was working outside in the nature with dogs. I know how to work with puppies, with old dogs, with shy dogs, with problem dogs and also with crazy dogs. And don’t be surprise if I will bark on you! 🙂 Jan is very handy and hardworking guy and he is not afraid of any kind of work. He really loves dogs and working outside in the nature. Jan’s lifetime hobby is working with wood, what is on husky farm very good! He builds a houses for us, dog houses and he will probably manage to construct absolutely everything. If you need to build anything then Jan is your guy! And competitions with our husky team is just icing on the cake. 🎂 When Jan met Denisa, in this time he met what does it mean life with huskies. He loves to tell stories about dogs and you could listen him for hours. He is a big expert on bookings and driving school/instructions for the tours. This is us in full glory. 🙂
Whole my life I love to work and spend time with dogs and people together. I love dogs very much, I know how to train them and cuddle them. Sometimes it seems like that I can understand dog language. 😉
I spend a lot of hours in the dog yard with them. Dogs are my work, passion and life.
Jan always tries to realize all the inventions that Denisa comes up with. He is all the time busy in the background, fixing lines, sleds, kennels, etc.
